Respect We honor the cultures of the collaborating communities to
develop the structures they envision for themselves, based upon their own
values and beliefs in caring for their children.
Empowerment
We
recognize and support the ability if the beneficiary hospice organization to
manage, maintain, and utilize the local and existing resources to carry out
their mission in the provision of quality end-of-life care.
Community
We
value the human connection and relatedness among the various organizations
in which we share a heart for children. As one person we cannot change the
entire situation; as a community, we can change the entire situation for
one person.
Compassion We
endeavor to reduce the suffering of terminally ill children by providing
the means to build structures in which children can receive pastoral and
nursing care.
